Your trust is important to us—so we’re completely transparent about the (very little) data that we collect. We only collect data that helps us improve the product. We never collect data that compromises the privacy of your company, your employees, or your customers. Period.

Information we DO collect

Here’s a breakdown of the information we collect and how we use it to improve:

Number of users. We may collect the number of agents that have used Lightning Macros at least once in a billing period. This helps us bill you correctly and better understand if our product is providing value to our customers. We never collect any information about your agents—just the number! This information is stored securely on Google Analytics (which means it’s super secure) and never ever shared with other third parties.

Feature usage. We may collect the number of times a feature is used. This helps us better understand how our customers are using Lightning Macros so we know where to focus our improvements. We never collect anything other than a count. For example, we may collect that you used a dropdown field M times and a decimal field N times in a given period but we never collect the data stored in any of those fields or provided by your agents. This information is stored securely on Google Analytics (which means it’s super secure) and never ever shared with other third parties.

Information we DO NOT collect

We don’t collect any information that isn’t explicitly listed in “Information we DO collect,” including:

  • Correspondence between you and your customers.
  • Any personal information about your agents.
  • Any personal information about your customers.
  • Any text or properties of your macros.
  • Any Zendesk configuration.
  • Any data about when Lightning Macros was used.

That’s it! Need something clarified or have a question about privacy in general? Please reach out to us at privacy@lightningmacros.com at any time.
